This hair was created by Tiffini Gatlin Owner of Latched and Hooked Hair and co-collaborated with Jenise McBride Creator of The Crochet Seamless Hairline. We came together to create the perfect hair with our client in mind. We wanted premium synthetic itch-free hair with curl patterns and textures that felt and looked real. Tiffini went to China and came back with just that. Her journey in the hair industry and dedication and commitment to the clients and stylist is amazing.

Hi ladies, so this video was designed for my students but since many of you has been asking for a tutorial on how to do a take down, we've decided to share this with you as well!
As you see the first thing we do is cut the hair down to almost a buzz cut to expose the workmanship underneath. The hair installed in this video is our Goddess waves and the method used is our non-slip method. With this method I like to use what is known as a seam ripper to undue the loops instead of the scissors. A seam ripper allows you to have more control than a scissors which is my reason for using it.
As the hair grows out and depending of the contrasting color of the hair it can be hard to tell the difference between the two during the take down especially if you're doing it by yourself. Thats why it is our preference to use the seam ripper to undue the loops instead of feeling and cutting. Make sure you position the pointy end of the seam ripper into the loops to cut and undue...
LET’S CREATE A DIALOGUE ABOUT THIS
There’s a longer video of this on @therealremyredd IGTV but in short. This young lady is using her God given talents to feed her family just like you and I (Hair-Braiders) But in some states in this jacked up world we live in, You must be a licensed cosmetologist in order to do so. When of course they wouldn’t teach you a damn thing about braiding or protectivestyles.
THIS IS THE GOVERNMENTS WAY TO MONOPOLIZE WHAT THEY CAN.
BUT THIS IS WHY I TELL ALL MY STUDENTS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF YOUR STATE LAWS ON PRACTICING MY TECHNIQUES I would hate for this, (be it unfair), to happen to YOU I myself have had GA’s secretary of state visit me when I worked out of my home, by the way of a disgruntled patron ... It has happened to the best of us!
Although you’ve tried your best some people you just can’t please. (And then you realize that that’s they’re MO after having been told how terrible all of...

-is a silky texture. The hair is a bit on the low maintenance side and low volume style except Cruzan curls (Cruzan Curls cannot be combed out just simply seperate hair to avoid tangling). But remember ALL Crochet has Volume no matter how much I thin it out it will still have a bit volume. Therefore please do not expect it to lay flat as bundles.
Volume does subside a bit within 2 weeks of wear. Cruzan curls does drop significanlty and gives a more longated curl....
